About me
Hello,
My name is Yuri Lara, and I bring over 10 years of teaching experience across the public and private sectors in New York, New Jersey, and Texas.
I began my career in Special Education, working in an inclusion setting for Universal Pre-K, an experience that profoundly shaped my understanding of what it means to provide meaningful access to not only students with disabilities but to all students. It was there that my purpose as a Special Education teacher became clear, to ensure that every student has the opportunity to grow and thrive alongside their peers. That commitment has since become my greatest passion.
I enthusiastically invite you to join my upcoming session, where we will come together to explore the co-teaching model, station-based, that creates meaningful access for all of our students. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow educators and develop the collaborative skills needed to effectively partner with general education teachers to support of our students.
