About me
I am a Functional Academics Paraprofessional at Stuber Elementary and have proudly been part of Prosper ISD for the past four years. Before joining Prosper, I worked as a Program Assistant in several day programs across the DFW area, supporting adults with disabilities. I enjoy working closely with our students to help them reach their academic goals, and I am equally passionate about helping them develop the social skills and confidence needed to build meaningful relationships. Building connections with our centralized students is one of the most rewarding parts of my job, and I am passionate about creating opportunities for centralized and general education students to connect, learn from one another, and form lasting friendships. I also enjoy helping general education students develop empathy, understanding, and appreciation for peers with diverse abilities. My degree in Visual and Performing Arts allows me to express another side of my passion for education through our after-school Theater Club, where I serve as the Tech Crew Director. This role gives me the opportunity to build relationships with our general education students while helping them develop confidence, teamwork, and responsibility behind the scenes. Because our Theater Club often includes students receiving special education services, my professional background also allows me to provide meaningful support and help create an inclusive environment where every student can be successful. I am currently working toward my teaching certification and look forward to continuing my career as a teacher in Prosper ISD.
