About me
Over the past decade in special education, I’ve worked with students across a wide range of settings. Before transitioning into my role as an educational diagnostician, I taught in a centralized K–6 program. Since then, I’ve focused primarily on supporting elementary and middle school students. I believe assessment is only as good as what happens next. My approach is rooted in real collaboration, working closely with teachers, specialists, and families to translate evaluations into practical, everyday classroom strategies. At the end of the day, it's all about making sure every student gets the tailored support they need to thrive both academically and socially. I’m currently at Cockrell Elementary, where I manage evaluations and facilitate ARD/IEP meetings.
Beyond my work, I’m mom to an energetic three-year-old named Elias, who keeps me on my toes. When I have a free moment, I reading new books, unwinding by the pool, and catching up with loved ones. I care deeply about continuous learning, focusing on progress over perfection, staying resilient, and finding a healthy balance between my career and family life.
