About me
I am a Texas native, born and raised, and I started my teaching career in Mesquite, Texas. I am a wife to a wonderful husband, I am a mother of three, and I have a beautiful grandson. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with my Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2005. I attended Texas A&M-Commerce for graduate school and earned my Master's Degree in Education in 2007. I just completed my 21st year overall in Education and my 8th year in Prosper ISD. Middle school is my home, and these kids have truly captured my heart. I previously taught at Reynolds MS for 7 years, but I am so lucky to call myself a Moseley Mustang for the second year in a row now. My passion for learning, reading, and writing is what I hope to pass on to my students. It is my mission to instill a love for learning, reading, and writing in all of my students so they develop a desire to become lifelong learners.
