About me
I am and Amy Williams and I am so excited to be presenting at Prosper Connects this year! I have been in education for 26 years. I have just completed my 11th year in PISD in which I have been a reading specialist for the past 6 years. I have taught PK, K, 1st and 2nd grade as well as High School Alternative education in my career in education. I have really enjoyed learning from other professionals in order to refine my own craft as a teacher through the years. I am looking forward to passing some of this invaluable learning along to others. On a personal note, I have been married to my husband Larry for 30 years and we have 3 awesome children, Jack 18-who just graduated High School this year, Lizzie 21-a business student at Tarleton State and Trenton 26-a software engineer for Garmin Marine.
