Thursday July 30, 2026 9:00am - 9:50am CDT
How do we move from "scribbles on a page" to intentional, self-regulated writing? Using the principles outlined in Visible Learning and the Gradual Release of Responsibility, this session equips Kindergarten teachers with strategies needed to launch and sustain a successful Writer’s Workshop.
Participants will explore how to transition from Teacher Modeling (I Do) to Collaborative Writing (We Do) and finally to Independent Application (You Do), ensuring every student—regardless of their starting point—sees themselves as an author.
