Cultivating a student’s CCMR mindset begins well before high school; it starts by reimagining the 'Navigator' phase as a strategic launchpad for student agency and long-term CCMR success. This session reframes the Middle School "Navigator" phase, shifting it from passive course selection to a strategic engine for student agency. We will explore how to transition students from Active Investigators to Informed Designers.
By fostering a deep connection between classroom content and future "Why," we empower students to unlock high-school-credit courses and elite CTE tracks long before they step onto a high school campus. Participants will leave with a clear roadmap to navigate the specialized programs and endorsement pathways available within Prosper ISD, ensuring they can support every student in their quest to achieve a personalized and accelerated secondary experience.
